Crypto Trade Review
Cryto-trade.com is a digital currency trading site that accepts EUR and USD. The project belongs to Esecurity SA company which is located in Hong Kong. Trying to promote the site, they thought of a public share auction and tried to sell 50% of the exchanges shares. If you would like to become a shareholder of Crypto-Trade you can still buy some shares for BTC or LTC. At the end of every month shareholders will get 50% of the site’s net profits through dividend payments.
The owner and CEO of Crypto-Trade Ronald Linco went live with the exchange on April 2013. It has not been that long for them to achieve something significant in this area. Ronal Linco is also the CEO of Koddos.com which is providing secure dedicated servers for Crypto-Trade.
Server of the exchange is located in Belize. That is the country in which the Esecurity SA is registered to avoid strict digital currency laws of China as the company is located in Hong Kong.
The last 30 days turnover reaches just $48,629.72 what might be considered a very small amount for an exchange but that is only from bitcoin trades, while they are allowing another nine crypto-currencies to be traded with on their platform. We can tell that this trading site is doing really poorly now, and they are far from catching up with the top exchanges. Crypto-Trade should work on their liquidity and volume.
Sadly there are no applications for phones from Crypto-Trade out there yet.
Trading fees are quite low in comparison with other trading sites. The fee that Crypto-Trade charges per trade is 0.20% and it can get even lower to 0.15% if your monthly trades would reach a certain volume or your are a shareholder. The fees for withdrawals and deposits are not so attracting.
Crypto-Trade allows API usage and has very nicely explained documentation with lots of fine examples for anyone who might need it.
There is a nice way of communication implemented on their site home page, it is called Crypto-Shoutbox where all the users can chat. There is a support person almost all the time sitting in that chat, so it is a nice way to get help too, if not from support then from other users. Also there a nice helpdesk system available where you can leave a ticket asking for support.
All in all, Crypto-Trade after running for more then a year still seems like a startup that just went live. It is almost completely unusable regarding their low volume. If they will not increase their volume over time, they might have to close up entirely. As of now, unless you are looking to trade something that only their offer, we would suggest to look for a better exchange.
