DISH Network Will Accept Bitcoin
The company is based in Colorado and with more then 14 million subscribers it can easily be called one of the biggest content providers in America.
DISH should start allowing its subscribers to pay for the service with bitcoin at sometime in the third quarter of 2014, however there is not yet an exact date set. When the company will start accepting bitcoin it becomes the biggest one to date.
The company has more than 30,000 employes and last year has reported revenue of $13.9bn.
Among the 14 million subscribers there will most certainly be some bitcoin users. As the digital currency is becoming a preferred payment method, the company wants to deliver choice and convenience for the customers by including this new way to pay the bills.
The cryptocurrency payment processor for the company will be Coinbase. Having in mind the size of DISH Network this deal can bring a huge boost for Coinbase.
All customers who decide to use this opportunity will be able to pay with bitcoin on mydish.com site.
